- Our installations team will book a date to install a network of Bluetooth beacons – or plug into any existing beacons in your network.
Beacons are adhered onto ceilings and other fixed surfaces using double-sided adhesive so nothing is damaged. - Our team will input and customise all of the information for the building – descriptions, destinations and routing information.
- We conduct tests and scans to check the installation and accuracy. Finally, we push the location live on the BindiMaps app.

No. BindiMaps does not collect any identifying information. Therefore, all of the information we capture is completely anonymised.
Yes. We would not expect a person with vision impairment to give up their mobility aid at any time. We provide directions to a location, but a person with vision impairment still needs to take account of any obstacles that cannot be isolated such as other people, for example.
We use small Bluetooth beacons which are approximately 2.5cm x 2.5cm and are battery operated. The beacons are adhered onto ceilings, walls, poles, or any areas where they are out of sight. We are pretty flexible with where we put the beacons and not drilling into surfaces or wires are required for installation
