Successful Trial at Prime Minister and Cabinet Office

BindiMaps is now entering the halls of the government departments in Canberra, following a successful trial at the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

The government building, covering about 2,000 square metres, is now accessible by staff and visitors, who can find their way to meeting rooms, desks, emergency exits, staff kitchens and other locations quickly and easily using voice navigation, whether they are fully sighted, blind or vision impaired.

Mladen from BindiMaps installs a beacon at the office of the PM&C.

After a three-month trial of the technology in the office, the PM&C has agreed to become a full customer of BindiMaps, and has the option to expand the technology to other buildings and departments.
