BindiMaps was the official Accessibility Partner of the Sydney Seniors and Disabilities Expo last month.

The Expo, at the Sydney Showgrounds at Sydney Olympic Park, was one of the biggest expos of its type in Australia, running over two days and including more than 200 booths on a massive expo floor.

Thanks to BindiMaps, each of the 200 booths was totally accessible to people who are blind or vision impaired, and of course to everyone who wanted to learn more about services and products designed to assist seniors and those with disabilities.

We had our own BindiMaps booth at the expo and that gave us a wonderful opportunity to showcase the app and demonstrate it in account to some of the thousands of visitors to the event.

The event also gave us an opportunity to catch up with NSW Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services Gareth Ward.

Following the success of the event, we were invited to BindiMap the equivalent event in Brisbane, the Brisbane Disability Expo, so look out Brisbane, here we come!
