Carbon Reduction Projects

MapitX Pty Ltd are a new supplier to the UK providing a digital product with no current UK activity that generates carbon emissions.

Therefore, our UK emissions are currently zero.

We are committed to being Net Zero by 2050 and as we start our activities in the UK the associated carbon emissions will be reported and carbon reducing measures will be considered.

As we launch our product in the UK, the following measures will be implemented and considered:

Business Travel

The following actions will be implemented to reduce the emissions from business travel:

A sustainable travel policy will be developed to reduce emissions and to promote low impact alternatives. This will be communicated and embedded within the company operations and decision-making processes.
Development of online and virtual training resources.
Utilisation of virtual customer meetings where possible.

Expansion of emissions reported

To include all relevant scope 3 categories and extend the boundary from UK to Global by 2028.

Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 006 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate

standard¹ and uses the appropriate government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.²

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements (where required), and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.³

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
