Introducing the next generation of accessible wayfinding

We’re proud to announce the next generation of accessible indoor wayfinding technology

The new tech delivers unprecedented accuracy, making it much easier for our blind and vision impaired users to navigate spaces with confidence and independence.

And we are partnering with Australia Post, who will be the first of our clients to install the new tech in post offices in NSW and Victoria. Check out the story in The Australian and our press release for more details!

Not only is the new technology super-accurate when it comes to localising a user in an indoor space, but it is quick, easy and cost effective for building owners and managers to deploy.

The new system requires no infrastructure – so no beacons, no wiring, no internet or building modifications.

Josh Bannister, Executive General Manager Retail, Brand, and Marketing at Australia Post, shared his excitement about the collaboration, stating, “The introduction of this technology is a great opportunity for us to test and learn how we can support the vision-impaired community.” His words reflect the broader impact of Hyperlocal on making public spaces more inclusive.

Our CEO, Anna Wright, emphasised the transformative potential of Hyperlocal, noting, “This technology allows us to roll out our system in a fraction of the time, with no disruption to building occupants. It’s a game-changer for accessibility in indoor environments.”

We’re proud to announce that Hyperlocal is already being implemented across several Australia Post locations, including Collins Street West GPO in Melbourne, Kent Street GPO in Sydney, and the Williamstown Community Hub. And this is just the beginning.
